my mic is muted in a party and i talk to myself like an asshole for 20 minutes

HAHA I love it when someone in the party goes silent. Then after some time you here them pop saying that same thing!

this happens very frequently because my brother keeps his mic muted for some reason

I do that too. Mostly because I turn off my mic when I'm not talking, and sometimes I forget to turn it back on.

Why do people do that? I never understood it.(muting mic when not talking then turn on to talk)

When I first started playing 360, I was talking, then begging, then yelling at my teammates who were never responding to me. Realized they were in Party Chat and could not hear me...

My daughter is the reason why my mics off, she can get loud and I really don't think people want to hear a screaming kid, when she does scream. Wear the headset so I can hear my team, and if I get someone who just doesn't shut-up (this is mainly when I play CoD by myself, I'm in parties alot when friends are on) it doesn't annoy my family, but still hear the TV.

This topic reminds me a lot of me when I first go my Turtle Beaches. Always seemed to forget that the Mic part had a seperate cord.

Yeah my mom used to yell at me when I first got my Turtle Beaches. I was so used to the Xbox headset where you could hear yourself. But when I got my Turtle Beaches I was almost yelling. So my mom would yell at me.

Same here Muted it so i could talk to my sister without sounding like a maniac then Tom got annoyed at me because i was "Ignoring" him lol

Also Epyks Baby in the background last night sounded cute lol
