There are too many to give just his series' out. Eddings writes The Belgiard, Mallorean, Elenium(sp) and the Tumali (sp), amongst many singular novels. Eddings quite a comical writer, using a lot of sarcastic characters, or downright comically flawed ones, in many of his books. The Belgiard (I can't remember how to spell it) is written as a Arthurian Quest. It has a magic "thing-a-ma-jig", the mystic scholar "who has a fondness for ale, loose women, and can happen to blow the tops off of mountains if you piss him off" and the quest with the mystic scholar to get back the magic thing-a-ma-jig. The main character is a "Perceval the Dumb" archtype, meaning you learn as much as the main character does, you get the basic info to catch you up in the beginning, and you go from there. The Mallorean is a second series with same cast as the Belgirad with main Character now fulfilling an "Arthur" role. Two prequels explaining to halfs of the same story were written, along with his notes and preliminaries for both, totaling 12 books, all short. A good singular novel would be "Redemption of Althalus", which will give some physics majors fits (uses some time and space elements that go against the grain).
