Yeah. Matebas get used in movies/animes when they want a bad-ass futuristic looking gun. The gun from Firefly is a mateba too.

I really don't know. Whenever one of those "what guns do you want to see in the game" threads pop up for any FPS, the Mateba is always my first choice.

I've wanted one in real life for years now. They're really hard to find for sale and are getting more expensive by the day.

There was a guy in Oregon selling 2 a couple years ago for obout $1500. Lowest price I'd seen and one was chambered in .454 Casull. They were gone by the time I got a hold of him otherwise I'd own one right now.

Last time I saw a used one the guy wanted $2400 for it.
