Well Ill just start off by saying this is a real good game, not amazing but really good. LA Noire does so many things well, but also has its.fair share of flaws.

What I liked-

- amazing facial tech. By far the best yet.
-gripping storyline
-awesome voice acting
-The investigations are really fun, and unique.
-.lots of content. 21 story cases, 40 street crimes and tons of things to find.
- one of the more unique games ever
-did a fanyastic job of conveying 40's LA

What I didnt-

- driving is wonky
- at times its very slow paced which some wont like
-the citizin AI is HORRIBLE( peds run directly into your car...)
- some of the cases in the middle get a litte predictable
- Body models are lackluster
- Cole is a kind of a douce(which some may like)
-the ending! God I hated it.

Other than that well done! Id.give it a solid 8/10. A sequel could be amazing if some gameplay rlements are slightly tweaked. To be honest though, after following this game for 2 years im slightly dissapointed Sad Good game, but could have been much better. Felt a bit rushed at the end.

Doesn't sound too exciting (The story). My buddy has it and he told me it's pretty good maybe i'll pick it up in the future.

Hearing this right here is enough to make me want to play it.

What I liked:

- Emotions and expressions are done really well. Only game I can think of that did better was Heavenly Sword. ( some of you might be saying "wtf?" but yeah, I'll explain a little better in a bit )
- Voice acting is top notch
- A few familiar faces among the characters
- Interrogation is really fun. Feels exactly like a Phoenix Wright game, but way more unforgiving, which I actually like. Causes you to think things through more.
- Atmosphere is realistic and gritty to an extent. Violence, nudity, and slight racism are present without being tasteless.
- Unloading a full, hot load of lead into a criminal's moist, quivering flesh is ever so satisfying. Twisted Evil
- Main character is balanced. He's a classic goody goody cop doing the right thing, but isn't afraid to get dirty or show his edgier side.

What I didn't like:

- Although the facial expressions are done well, the graphics around it are a bit jacked up. Kind of like they animated the area around the eyes, nose, and mouth perfectly, but then put it on a face, head, and body rendered on a PSone.
- Feels a little too much like Phoenix Wright. I love both games, but they're essentially the same game with Noire adding a few extras (gunplay, side missions, few collectibles)
- I find the detail they put into the areas quite forgettable. The only reason I don't let my partner insta-travel me everywhere is because it makes me feel like I'm cheating. It's cool that they remade 40's LA, but I haven't found myself awed by a single area (unlike GTA and RDR)
- Not much to do in the world other than street crimes. Don't expect to be doing random, crazy things like in GTA.
- You can't keep any cars you find unless you're the most amazing driver ever and never crash your car throughout the entire game.
- It's a little too easy to get clues. Your controller vibrates for every clue and you get an audio queue once you've found everything.
- Shooting people is fun, controlling your character during the fight feels akward though. RB to take cover, RT to run, LT and then RT to shoot, RT while in cover to blind fire.
- People might be turned off by the fact that you're pretty much using your pistol the entire game unless you pick up an enemy weapon and the weapon only stays with you till you run out of ammo or that scene is over.
- You also can't just pull out your gun and cap people whenever you feel like it and it's somewhat disheartening to see every pedestrian dodge your car.

I think that's all I can think of. All in all, LA Noire is a very good game. Definitely check it out. Excuse me while I play some Phoenix Wright.

This isnt supposed to be like GTA at all. Your a cop. Being able to cap peds and run people over would he silly. It fits the context of the game perfectly. I really dont unserstand that gripe to be honest. I guess people saw Rockstar and expected another GTA. The game isnt developed by R*.

I'm not saying that I expected it to be just like GTA and I understand that you're supposed to be a cop. It's good they went the way they did, but you still kind of miss the ability to do silly things like that.

My friend is playing this game currently. I've been watching him play it at work, and I've been thinking this same thing. It kind of makes me chuckle a bit since one of the big things about this game that I kept hearing was about the graphics and how awesome they are supposed to be. I can see it with the facial motions and things like that, but outside of that, it doesn't look any better than GTA 3. Yes, GTA 3. I like Rockstar, but lately, I've felt a lot of disappointment with their games. It seems to be a rehashing of the same things over and over again. At least with this game, it looks like they went into a different direction with game play. Got tired of the same thing, go here, okay now go here, okay now go here, now talk to these people, now fight with these people, now escape, mission over.

For the 400th time- this game is not developed by Rockstar.

Never said it was developed by them, but they had their hand in it.

Lol damn you.guys! My point is simple. For people who have veen following Noire for years(like me) it was always apparent this game was going to be very different than GTA. I just dobt think its fair to compare the two. Its like saying Dead Rising and RE are dissapointing as they are so different, yet.both zombie games made by Capcom. Just my 2 cents though.

Yeah, I'm not trying to compare the two like they are the same game, I'm just saying that I've been disappointed with them with their past couple games. As for L.A. Noire itself, I'm disappointed with the graphics that were highly talked about.

The facial graphics are amazing. But the character models are "meh".
