Summing it up for anyone confused:


  • New MLP show on The Hub (which is Canadian or something?)
  • Spearheaded by the same person that made The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
  • Legitimately very very good writing, characterization, humor
  • NOT CONSTANT TEA PARTIES AND OMG WHO'S GOING TO THE DANCE WITH WHO DESUDESU (well, there is some of that)
  • Still manages to be about friendship and stuff without pandering or being pants-on-head ******* (past the first two episodes)
  • Awesome in general
  • Ain't yo mama's My Little Pony
