Reading thru some of the new features, thought "DAMN! All these are awesome!". Ones like; Improved Load Times, I was like YEEAH!!!. Or improved network performance, which had me going "SWEEET!!!! Terror is Reality might be playable!!
Then I came across a one that pissed me off.
"In "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record," the save system is much kinder, complete with an auto-save whenever you change zones or encounter a boss fight."
Seriously....what the hell!?!? Its not like the save system was bad in the game. there were literally restrooms in every section of the game. Most not more than 5 minutes away. That is what made the game challenging. Dead Rising 2 is one of the easiest, yet most challenging game to come out recently, and I loved the fact that there were no autosaves. Really gave the game a sense of challenge knowing that at any moment you could lose a survivor, end up running into a accidental psycho fight completely unprepared, or just die in general.
I loved it, and the majority of the people that played the game liked there were no auto saves.
Now all the people who complained "The game was TOOO HARD!!!"
Or "OMG!! I died and lost 10 minutes of gameplay because I was too lazy to run to the otherside of this casino and save!! THIS GAME SUCKS!!" get the game changed for them cause they suck at it.
Seriously, Capcom practically made it hella lot easier for you in DR2 with the inclusion of multiple save files. The save system in DR1 was fine, but no, everyone who needed to rely on checkpoints couldn't bear to take a few minutes out of their time to save at a restroom, so they changed it for you.
Seriously, there had better be an option to disable it, or I will really be pissed.
