i think you...........uh.............hmmmm on youtube theirs a bar that says embed just click it then copy

I guess its in the toolbar when you post....
At least thats what I was told.

Depends where are you trying to embed from?

If from Youtube, they have an embed button below the video, just copy paste it. If from elsewhere, you'll need to do some HTML, you'd have to google that.

so i clicked the link button and copy/pasted the embed code from the youtube videos i wanted to embed but i still can't get it to work. any idea on what i'm doing wrong?

It's kind of hit and miss.

Someone else stated that if you preview your post it lowers the likelihood of it working properly.

Also if you edit a post with a vid embedded it may make it not work anymore and you'll have to re-embed it.

TL;DL don't preview or edit.
