How I came up with my username.

Well, since my name isn't Bob, and I'm not a Doctor, you're probably thinking: why the fuck did you get the name Dr Bob 276? No, I never had a doctor named Bob. It came from back in the day when I was in 8th grade or so, and my friend were always playing Halo 2, back when I used to always be ecstatic, and insult him by calling him "pussy nerd" and such for sniping as a joke, telling him his fatness would hinder him, etc. One day, I had the energy sword, and I hit him the face, and I used that creepy voice to yell "Got CHO NOSE!!!', which eventually led to a mini story about how I was Dr Bob, the evil plastic surgeon, and I would take his arm and put it on his nose so his nose could at least walk. xD Yes, very weird, I know, but that was that.

People mistaken that I took my reference from Diablo, but actually not.

Eye of a storm is a calm place, within the chaos happening all around it. I always believed that being calm in chaotic situation is the key to be a better player.

Also, as many of you know, I play from a distance observing the storm.

Higurashi is the name of the best anime ever.

I kinda went out there for my name. However, many people seem to think it's some kind of play on the Soundgarden song, "Black Hole Sun." It is not. -_-

Well I had this long running joke with my brother about some skit idea we came up with where this random Chinese guy somehow gets a mistaken order and a ton of boxed duck sauce is left at his house. Then he tries to convince people that duck sauce is a cure all and can do anything so he can sell it. So duck sauce was an inside joke for a while with my brother and I.

one day I misspelled it Ducksaws, and all I could think of was chainsaw wielding duck. I liked it. so I kept it.

Couple of different things that led to my choosing of D00MSDAY DEVICE.

MF DOOM is one of my favorite rap artists and his defining albums is Operation: DOOMSDAY (same as my FF team name). From there I decided that my GT would have something referring to Doom and I didn't want it to be something Doombringer or some **** like that.

So I settled on D00MSDAY DEVICE because the idea of a device that literally brought doom upon whoever activated it was always fascinating to me.

My Gamefaqs username D_Gryphon is just a play on my name. My last name is Griffin.

Mine had inspiration from a few different things, mainly songs/bands. But i dont know really where is got Dark from.

EDIT: wow well thats how i got my Gamertag. User name came from the fact im pretty quite and i like shooter games.

Shojimaru: the name of a character I created while tracing my Japanese heritage. My ancestors where in samurai and ninja clans at one point. Taking into account my martial arts and love for Japanese history and tradition I came up with a Japanese name for myself. Sense then I've been using the name.

Cramtron -

I used to come up with nonsense words all the time. I still have quite a knack for it.
Anyway, I just thought Cramtron sounded funny, and I was tired of my old handle of Cecil McDude. So I made it my gamertag on a whim when I signed up. Just stuck with it after that, so that people could associate my GFAQs account with my GT.

Somewhere along the way, though, it was determined that a Cramtron is a robot who went haywire, and who crams things into other things.

If you see a Cramtron, run, because it will stick a desk lamp down your throat and a remote control up your butt.

Mine started off as Erkaderka which after watching Team America with my friends a long time ago. The insurgents would say derkaderka and my name is Eric so it kind of mixed. That changed to Erkeric and finally last summer I was playing nazi zombies with some friends a bunch so the ZK50 comes from zombie killin 5 0.

ZeroPDA - and account in highschool I made, was is ROTC...and the major kept saying over and over Zero PDA while in uniform. So that's the first thing to come in mind.
When making an account.

Epyk Fail. - if I do bad, its ok, name says it all. If I'm at the top of the list. It takes on a whole new meaning...

Mr. Dr. Awesome. - sprang up in a thread on gfaqs...a few of us were ribbing each other (can't remember who)and I told them my new name was dr. Awesome and I expected to be addressed as such. Few days later I had the account.

Ehat came up with mine, because he decided if Ehat ever had a girlfriend, her name would be Terry, so she could go by Ms. Terry of Hat. Haha.

Normally I go by Katalei, so this is a new one for me.

I thought it was, I think it would be a lot cooler. I dunno how I came up with mine, just did.

I thought Mr. E. of the Hat was possibly the name of the Mario Party 8 announcer.

FuzzyWuzzy originated from while I was in middle school (it was the first time I had ever played in full pads) and I was by far not the best tackler so I was called FuzzyWuzzy but about two years after that I started popping people so they just changed it to how all the ladies think I am all Fuzzy and Wuzzy . The 76 was when my dad was born (I will always respect that man till the day I die).

Mine came from when I was looking for an online name and my brother had a book on philosophers and I flipped to a page and saw Voltaire and liked it, and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out about the 823.


Also when my brother played BF1942 he went by Nietzche.

Why does ZeroPDA look so damn familiar? I can swear I used to see it all the time on boards I used to lurk.

Anyway, When I made my GameFAQs account, Majora's Mask had just recently come out, its my favorite Zelda game, and the name has stuck with me ever since.

It started because normally I'm a very laid back calm guy, but one day when someone had really pissed me off one of my friends said he thought I was gonna go psycho on him...and at the time I was looking for something to call myself in games so I started using Psycho as my gaming persona.

Then when I joined xbox live Psycho was taken so I added 79 to the end since its the year I was born. Psycho79 is also my gamefaqs account.

Later on I joined a clan(The Obsidian Order) and moved up in the ranks...well the higher ranks in the clan required the clan tag in GTs so I changed mine to TOO Psychotic.

Now I have kind of a retired officer status in that clan...which means I no longer have to have the TOO prefix, but I'm still viewed as a high ranking clan member...and I decided since I'm a big Alabama football fan to change my GT to Bama Psycho.

I would play Star Fox64 with my brother and a close friend all the time. Because it was the 3 of us, I got to know how to read those guys so I started winning every match for about a month, and every time I shot somebody down my buddy would yell "Damn you Fox!!". It eventually crossed over into other games we played inside or outside, so I started using FOX as a records name in arcades or computer games, along with Star Fox 64 (me and my brother had a year long competition on who can get the highest score). I've used Fox in almost everything all my GTs had it FoxRoc, PODFox, and Conciliar Fox. Conciliar Fox ended up being a generated name after I tried to enter a GT 5 times with all of them being taken.
