Cool games I never gave a chance to...

I finally checked out the Darkness,and Dark Sector on youtube,and wow they seem cool and I might pick em up,they're bound to be cheap as hell by now,and it'll give me something to do besides wait for Dead Island,BF3,and Skyrim...

What are some good cheap games you guys/gals have found?

I've always wanted to get Transformers War for Cybertron,but not till it drops more in price lol.I loved the gameplay online demo they have tho.It was fun being the weak but super mobile robot and being stealthy XD

once my bro finished Red Faction Guerrilla I'm gonna play through it,and I still have Prototype to play through

Not enough people give the Civilization games a chance. Best strategy series in the world, imo.

I have empire earth 2 on pc,always heard about the civ. games though,I heard they were cool

I have Civ Revolution( I know its not as deep as the PC ones) but i love it and still play it from time to time.

I've been meaning to give The Darkness a chance, since I liked the demo.

I have Ninja Gaiden 2 and it very good. But it is also very hard at times. Sometimes the boss fights seem just downright unfair.

I will be honest and tell you right now that there are about 2-3 bosses badly designed (Gigadeath, also known as the silver giant sperm in Chapter 3, Dagra Dai which is the tentacle guy in the final level, for example), but most of them can be beaten without taking damage. And even then, NG2 wasn't designed around the idea of not taking damage, hence why your health regenerates.

But yeah, it's a hard game. Most people take it as another button masher hack and slash and get their asses handed down to them because of it. You need to actually learn your attacks and how your enemies behave.

It's piss cheap right now, so anyone that likes action games with GOOD combat should give it a shot.

I HATED this^ guy. I played this game about 3 weeks ago and I almost quit because I remembered how much I dispise this boss fight. Mos the the combat is top notch though.

How can you dodge his little silver fish? You can't thats how, just man up and take it every time he shoots them. Just hope you have enough heals and you hit him with enough arrows before he wears you down.

Hahaha. I know what you mean. I'm actually terrible against Gigadeath, even if I've killed him countless times. But instead of bending over and taking it, what I do is just save ninpo for that fight. If he fires the fish, I just use it, they die and give me essence and I send a fireball at Gigadeath. If you're out of ninpo and have no mushrooms, you can try the YYY attack of the Lunar Staff (if Gigadeath doesn't attack you at the same time), or fire your charged arrow at them and then time a dash and jump (jump with X+A, not just A) at the right time to avoid them. That is probably the worst boss fight, because it's so badly designed. I just save up for when I fight him.

Just Cause 2 and Mercenaries 2 are some of my favorite games on the 360. Both are awesomely amazing games!

I went back though and started playing some past gen games.
I am trying to finish up Lord of the Rings: The third Age right now. I have never liked Final Fantasy typed games, but this game is a fucking blast. Fighting the Balrog alongside Gandalf is totally awesome.

I'm sorry. Mercs 2 sucked IMO. So glitchy, enemy AI sucked, vehicles weren't built for co-op, vehicles sucked, the weapons aren't what they are really named, and so on.
