And I was very disappointed. During the interview with Bryan Cranston (main character of Breaking Bad), he confirmed that he will play Cohaagen in the upcoming remake of Total Recall. I am disappointed because it's not that quirky, awesome movie without Arny and all of them. And the writers of the original. Why is Hollywood doing this to my childhood? When and if I have a son, he's not seeing any remakes. All the originals baby.

It's already out? I haven't even seen a preview for it yet. Crazy...

Bummer you didn't like it though. Does it follow the first movie at all or is it its own story.

I don't know if any of you have read the original Robert Howard Conan stories, but they're badass. They have complete, uncut original versions available.

No. I didn't see the remake yet. It's just all remakes loose their quirky awesome charm of the original.

I just re-read your original post. I thought you meant you just watched Conan the Barbarian, but I'm guessing you meant Conan Obrien? I thought you only mentioned Total Recall because it was another re-make of an old Arnold film...

Wow I totally and completely misunderstood you. Shocked

I'll never understand why people claim remakes "destroy their childhood" or things of that nature.

I was like that once upon a time ago, but then I realized, "Oh wait, it doesn't."

If anything it exposes new generations to the older stuff. I love TR and I'm excited about the remake. It's always cool to see something re-imagined.

I am one who perfers my clasics they way they always were. I just feel like all the remakes are just a way for hollywood to make quick money without much thought.

It's time for Phillip K. Dick to get some proper treatment.
I don't care if it's a remake. I'm just psyched to see more of his stories turned into movies.
