I am actually serious, I just find it hilarious. I never once got mad, or annoyed, or anything when DL modded me. I always laugh at it, because again, its DL modding me.

but yeah, im just joking around man. I honestly think its funny. I mean I don't try and get modded, I do get carried away. But I do think its funny when it DL.

I don't think tilting it destroyed it's intent. A symbol of peace adopted by a political party can still be a symbol for peace. What the party became and eventually did if anything destroyed people's positive notice of the symbol. The symbol itself remained unchanged. Aside from the tilt.

I don't think the nazis were peaceful people. It only destroyed the ignorants view of the symbol because if they knew anything they'd know they're two separate symbols.

Yes they are seen as two separate symbols.

Of course the "Nazi's" weren't a peaceful people and I didn't mean to imply they were. But the Nazi Party starting out, as any political group, would gather from the populace and I think it would be a bit ignorant to assume all of Germany aren't peaceful.

The symbol wasn't adopted as a sign of destruction. It was adopted as a political symbol which intended use is to inspire and in a sense bring a feeling of peace to it's followers.

A German who supported the Nazi Party, seeing the Symbol would feel at ease(aka peaceful). Thus tho the tilt. If looked at in the right perspective was still a symbol for peace.

Well you answered your own question there. No matter how they started out it's what direction they ended up going in and thus the new symbol they have is suppose to project what they're about.

Maybe they started out as a peaceful group of friends but they stole a symbol and changed it and called it their own and become very hateful people.

I never assumed all Germans weren't peaceful as everyone in Germany wasn't nazis.

Hmm... well to bring this back to the original point.

He could still be a mustached bear for peace. Could just be horrid coincidence that he looks like hitler.

I do agree that there are 2 very different symbols. It isn't about the tilt tho as was your original response. But as you elaborated they did some terrible things. It is these actions that make the symbol different not the tilt.
They are both called swastikas. They both look alike. One is used in a peaceful tradition the other a history of violence. This is the difference.

In the art world specifically and in many non art instances... nothing is ever original. Everything has been done before. What makes something Original is what is done WITH it.

Good debate. Was fun.

In the American version she is.

Most scenes from Power Rangers are taken straight from the Japanese Super Sentai show(the original version of Power Rangers).

So aside from a few fight scenes, like the ones with the putties. Most fight scenes are from the Japanese version, mostly ones involving the actual monsters, and the Zord battles. Not all are though, but 90% are.

And in the original Sentai show, the Yellow was a dude. In the American Mighty Morphin Series, it was a chick. In the fight scenes that were filmed in America they made sure not to put a skirt on the Yellow Ranger(like the one on the Pink), because there was no skirt on the Japanese Yellow. So that would have caused problems if in some scenes the yellow had a skirt, and others it didn't. So they opted out of the skirt.
