Nothing beats a real pinball machine, but this Pinball FX2 is pretty fantastic. The ball physics feel perfect. Actually everything feels perfect and it looks really, really good.

I bought the Excalibur board and it is baddass. Lots of ramps and skill shots. Pop up creatures and a spinning round table. It has a joust battle on the left side and up above a mini-board where you duel a knight by hitting targets and then smashing him in the head. Multi-ball starts by dropping a ball in a cauldron and then getting it to tip and spill magic balls. There's a castle in the back that you can march a battering ram into.

It's great and you can buy just that table for 240 points i think. 3 bucks for awesome pinball.

The game itself is free to download, and you can download a bunch of tables to try free. Some of the tables come in 4 table sets for 800, but there are several (captain america, excalibur, mars etc...) that you can buy singly for $3.

Check it out if you like pinball. It's pretty great.

I would make a ball joke, but I don't want to be THAT GUY.

I have a few friends who like pinball, but I've never been a fan. :/

Nice. I have a couple arcade machines left, but I've always wanted a nice pinball machine.
Medevil madness would probably be my first choice.

You guys should at least take a look at the pinball demo. It's pretty cool stuff.

Thats one of the best ever made. That's the machine that made me realize how awesome pinball games can be.

I like to play real pinball. I don't know if a video game of pinball would be nearly as entertaining...

Same here exactly.

I was looking through my hardrive and noticed it said I had 0/200 points for Pinball FX2.
Normally it only shows gamerscore for games you own (not trials) and I didn't remember ever buying it or even playing it. Turns out it's free to download (I think mine came on the harddrive of my S model though) and it's the tables you purchase.

Videogame pinball has always sucked. That's why I was shocked at how fucking good this is. The ball physics are perfect. Lots of close up, zooming camera work and 7 camera angles to play from etc... Plus the graphics and sound are excellent.

The game is free, the table I bought is 200 points. That's only $2.50 total. Really, really good. Really, really cheap.

Check it out Cram

This is the one I got. Forgot to mention earlier it's got a firing catapult and some archer dudes too. Fun stuff.

we had an old game where the ball was fired up the side of an inverse U shaped table.

if you shot it too fast it would go too fast and bounce off the other side and back in to the channel. there were little nails in bucket shapes down the board.

the harder buckets were worth more. its such a good game but ive forgotten what its called. it was like a cross between pinball and hoopla Razz

This shows how good it looks better than the pic above.

And I just read that the Rome table is based off of the real life Medevil Madness table.
One of my favorite pinball machines. Looks like I'll be buying it too!

There are also a bunch of tables based off of Marvel characters.

Are you talking about a Pachinko machine or was it different?
