Aerosmith are kinda hit or miss for me. Their old drug years stuff is pretty decent for the most part. Their "clean" stuff is pretty meh for me.

Yeah whenever someone gets clean they generally start sucking. Or at least have a very hard time reproducing their former glory.

Alice Cooper is a contradiction to that though. Dude made some amazing shit in his drug years.
And can still perform some amazing shows and still write and make kick ass music despite having given up drugs and sobered up. The album he released a year or two ago is one of my favorite albums he has done. And I have almost his whole discography.
