Tips for falling asleep?

So, it's 2:45/whatever-AM and I tried to go to bed and sleep since 2am. No luck, I am attempting to goto bed earlier (4AM was earliest) but I have no ideas to help out.

Especially with school start on Wednesday D:

If you've been going to bed late for a while it's going to take a while to readjust.

Try waking up earlier so that you're sleepier at night.
Try tea without caffeine

DO NOT use sleeping pills whatever you do.

Turn a fan, fish tank filter, or a computer on; it creates white noise that makes it easy to sleep.

Go to the bathroom before you go to sleep.

Drink some water.

Make sure the room isn't too bright (or too dark, even though I don't have that problem; it's always too light for me it seems)

Make sure the room is a comfortable temperature.

Garlic. It lowers blood pressure, thus can cause sleepiness.

Either that, or chronic, if you're into that kind of thing.

Whatever you do, don't use any substances to help you sleep, as they'll just make it harder to sleep without them.

We get dogs high at school all the time, just blow smoke in their face. They do a couple of circles, sit down and relax...

i'm not sure if kittens would like it though they would probably get too paranoid

That coke squirrel comment reminded me of "Over the Hedge", that cartoon with Hammy the squirrel who's all ADHD and super hyper. Anyways they give him an energy drink and he starts moving so fast that time basically stops around him. I was all baked on brownies and it was the funniest shit I'd had seen in a long time.

So in closing, squirrels are hilarious.
