Great, whiners and babies ruined a good portion of what made Dead Rising great in the next game coming out: Off the Record.

Reading thru some of the new features, thought "DAMN! All these are awesome!". Ones like; Improved Load Times, I was like YEEAH!!!. Or improved network performance, which had me going "SWEEET!!!! Terror is Reality might be playable!!

Then I came across a one that pissed me off.
"In "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record," the save system is much kinder, complete with an auto-save whenever you change zones or encounter a boss fight."

Seriously....what the hell!?!? Its not like the save system was bad in the game. there were literally restrooms in every section of the game. Most not more than 5 minutes away. That is what made the game challenging. Dead Rising 2 is one of the easiest, yet most challenging game to come out recently, and I loved the fact that there were no autosaves. Really gave the game a sense of challenge knowing that at any moment you could lose a survivor, end up running into a accidental psycho fight completely unprepared, or just die in general.

I loved it, and the majority of the people that played the game liked there were no auto saves.
Now all the people who complained "The game was TOOO HARD!!!"
Or "OMG!! I died and lost 10 minutes of gameplay because I was too lazy to run to the otherside of this casino and save!! THIS GAME SUCKS!!" get the game changed for them cause they suck at it.

Seriously, Capcom practically made it hella lot easier for you in DR2 with the inclusion of multiple save files. The save system in DR1 was fine, but no, everyone who needed to rely on checkpoints couldn't bear to take a few minutes out of their time to save at a restroom, so they changed it for you.

Seriously, there had better be an option to disable it, or I will really be pissed.

Those are the reason why most videogames these days are piss easy. If I were a game developer, and people were complaining that the game was "too hard", I was doing my job right.

Goddamnit fuck. Just wait, by the time Dead Rising 3 comes out, the whole time system will be gone because of the idiots that say the whole time thing is "Too hard" and how they just "Want to kill zombies because zombies are the in thing right now and it are fun". Worthless bastards, go play L4D if you suck at Dead Rising, don't ruin it for the true fans that actually like it.

This. It was their fault the time limits in DR2 were so much more open or whatever. Cause oh no! It was too hard to do everything in one playthrough in the first game!!

Which was the fucking point. It was designed to make you make decisions, not decide what your going to do first.

I loved DR2, but its difficulty was severly lacking compared to the first

Exactly, I love that about Dead Rising, it's what makes it unique and pretty damn fun.

What people should be complaining about is the dialogue. Im sorry, it's just been horrible since DR1. It's improving though.

This is really lame news. I already thought having multiple saves in DR2 took away some of its charm. I preferred the first, where you had to live with your mistakes while dealing with harsh time limits.

I played the second one like I did the first, but there's no way around auto-saves.

Bummer.

Completely agree.

Although, most of the dialogue was great and seemed to be put there on purpose.

Brad after giving Frank a gun:
"You know how to use that thing?!"

Frank: "Yeah. I covered wars you know"
