We try to keep the excessiveness in the dedicated topics. In the average topic we may put in a picture or two, but this is usually in the midst of a variety of other pictures on said topic.

Fair enough, BUT...this probably would have been better asked through PMs. The only reason we got all defensive was this is clearly a brony topic and it started to take the same dramatic path as many of our other ones have.

How about this:

If a Brony makes the topic, then they can pic spam.

If a non-brony makes the topic them limit the pics.

Simple. I don't think sequestering certain users is in the spirit of the boards, it just separates people. Dislike of ponies or not, the brony guys are good posters.

Thank you Jensen. Even though I know you didn't ask for this, but I love the attempt at diplomacy. I like the idea, but I would still love to have our own group board where we can go nuts when we want to without blowing up the lounge.

The pony area in the lounge would be for dedicated pony threads so that there would be no way anyone wouldn't be able to tell that these are brony topics.
