Need more help with choosing a game, please

I have been thinking about which game I wanted to get next and was going to get ME2 but figured I should wait to play the first one, but I don't feel that committed at the moment. So I started to look at some other games and saw Borderlands. It looks awesome, has good reviews, and I love those types of games. BUT, is is really worth getting if I wont be playing with other people because I'm not sure if any of my friends have that game. Second, I have been thinking about getting Red Dead Redemption, how is the game, and would it be a better buy than Borderlands? And finally third, Assassins Creed 2, I LOVED the first one and was wondering if I should get this one or wait for a drop in price and just get a different game for now? I can't decide and would absolutely love any advice you guys have or opinions on the games. Thank you!!!

If you really loved the first assassins creed then you should get the sequel.

I'd say play ME1 before ME2.

I love westerns and Red Dead Revolver is one of my favorite games from the last 2 gens. However, Red Dead Redemption is easily one of my least favorite games I've played this gen period.
I could write a few paragraphs on why RDR isn't a very good game and a bad western. I left the house to trade it in about 5 minutes after I rolled the credits.

Borderlands I haven't played personally, but have heard mostly good things.

Assasins Creed 2 was sweet. I recomend it

Hmmmmm I was leaning more towards Borderlands, anyone have an opinion on that game?

if you havent gotten fallout 3 yet then get that. that game is the shit. try to get goty edition but the best expansions are broken steel, operation anchorage and the pitt. in that order

I have Fallout 3 GOTY and I love it, and I have oblivion. But is playing Borderlands still fun if you play by yourself? Cause I don't really mind playing games by myself.

If I were you, Id just rent AC2. I knocked it out in a day or so and doesnt really have much replay value.

Borderlands is great even if you play it solo. If you get that and want someone to play it with, Ill join you because Id like to go back and get some achievements.

RDR is also great. If you like GTA type games it is awesome but I didnt find the multiplayer appealing so I sold it a while back but the single player is definitely worth a rent at least.
