I was actually thinking of doing retraining for Cell/antennae tower engineer because I have a friend that travels the country working on them and he recommended I look into it.

I had no idea they could get that tall. I'm not scared of heights in the slightest, but that would definitely give you vertigo the first few times you did it.

I saw a show on TV, I don't remember what show it was, but it showed a group of people who do maintenance of the Empire State building. They have to climb all the way to the top without any safety equipment, and they have to do it fast because it gets really cold up there.

Standing on the top of that thing without being strapped to the poll even for a few second would make me crap my pants haha.

Should wear parachutes. At that height the wind starts getting stronger too.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it makes the climb to difficult. I'd want a parachute just to get down faster.

I used to work for the phone company and we had to climb 75 foot poles to get to the phone boxes and that was a chore so I can only imagine how difficult this is.

I wouldn't. No way in hell. And I am not afraid of heights. I mean I am planning on going Skydiving in January when I turn 18. But skydiving looks to be loads safer then that.
