im missing a chest in my house, the area around my nether portal is cobble again, not soul sand / netherrack.

i also cant make glowstone blocks from the dust i've got left :S

i was busy fixing all the redstone that glitched and replacing items for other players

yeah all i lost was progress. ive got 20 blocks worth of glitched glowstone dust though, it doesnt craft into blocks Razz

well i would wait to add more

i've been looking into 1.8 and we may just have to wipe the world and start over

i'm looking into how we could copy structures and import them

I'm sure there will be lots more info about moving world save from 1.7 to 1.8 once the patch is released

So we can look into moving stuff over using something like MC edit if possible or just start over with a need seed/world

anyone that may have suggestions or ideas please let me know

If this is correct, moving stuff between worlds shouldn't be too hard.

1. Get your old world, load it up in MCEdit, highlight your buildings, export them as schematics.
2. Download your server world, extract it
3. Open that world in MCEdit, import your schematics, place them wherever you want.
4. Save and reupload world.

i have never used MC edit though so once the update is out i'm sure there will be many people who come up with way to export 1.7 to 1.8

most others that play that are not from SeC seem to agree on new world

i like the idea of the mountainous but im sure there will be lots of new seeds once the 1.8 update is released

Any seed is going to be a lot different in 1.8, because of all the changes like biome size, rivers, etc.

if we can MCedit building over, go for it.

if not, we could just make a list of what we had beforehand and get reimbursed on the new seed.
