PSN is garbage

Man I like my ps3 for software, but my god my patience with PSN is waning. Ever since PSN got hacked, I have had really bad issues. And Im so sick of it.


- The main thing that pisses me off is the updates. It seems PSN decides when I can and cannot update games. For example, there has been an update for MLB the Show 11 for a month, and I have not been able to download it. It gets about halfway through, and fucking freezes. Every damn time......so annoying.

- PSN kicks me offline with regularity. The only time it doesn't happen is when Im watching Netflix or actually in an online game.

- Downloading anything takes FOREVER. For example, a few nights ago I put in my "Online Pas" for Madden, and it took 5 minutes for a 33 MB download. No exaggeration. How the hell is this even possible? Thats slower than dial up.....

The only thing that doesn't suck is the actual netcode. When I actually get online into a game, its as smooth as Live. But I have to put up with mass bullshit to get to that point! Any other PSN users have these problems since the hack?

All I can say is thank god Im building a PC.

ALl this makes me feel good for paying my 50 bucks for live.

No Gears or Dead Rising on the PS3. Easy decision for Mister Z.

I like the PS3 exclusives so its worth it to me. But the online is just so damn annoying. I guess you get what you pay for.

Ever since i've seen Bleach soul resurrection i've kinda wanted a PS3.. Dynasty warriors+Bleach=Should be amazing.

I just want Twisted Metal to come out finally. It was supposed to be released in October, but got pushed back to 2012. RAGE!

Oh yeah. I love Twisted Metal. Actually 3 and 4 were shit. I loved 1, 2, and Black.

- God of War series( over rated, but I like it )
- Metal Gear Solid ( maybe my favorite series ever )
- Uncharted games ( very fun, like modern, GOOD Tomb Raider )
- Killzone games ( a bit over hyped maybe, but fun as hell ) Killzone> Halo IMO
- Infamous games ( 2 is amazing IMO)
- Heavy Rain ( not for everyone, but I enjoyed it a ton )
- Demon souls( still working on this one, taking along time)
- The Show series( best baseball sim by miles)

These keep me happy. I just like fun games and could care less which platform they are on. But I DO want smooth online damnt!

Black was my favorite, with 2 close behind. Looks like the new one is going to be very similar to Black as far as aesthetics are concerned.

Never played God of War, but I can't believe I forgot that was an exclusive. The rest I know little to nothing of. I can't stand Baseball either.

Killzone on PS2 was AWESOME!

I have both and my PS3 doesnt get touched by me. Only my brother. I only touch it if something good just came out or something. PSN is so shitty i cant stand it.

I actually have it the other way around. I have trouble coming up with worthwhile Xbox exclusives.

Only one I love is Gears to be honest, the rest, I don't like. And I can only think of... Halo, Alan Wake... and yeah, not something I will ever play again.

But yeah, the PSN is fucking annoying.
