I hit 10000 kills!

I just crossed the 10,000 kills mark last night.
191 hours and zero minutes played.
930 matches.

And the Knife is still my most used weapon with 403 kills!

Yeah apparently I did. Don't know when though. My most used weapon though is still my M416. Damn how I love that gun.

Unreliable? I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
Compared to BC2 it's damn near perfect.
1. Get close.
2. Hold down the knife button OR if your knife is already out hold down the Trigger instead.
3. They die.

Out of my 400 knife kills I've probably only had it fail and slash instead about 10 times. Even then 4 of those times I just slashed again and still killed them (404 kills, 400 dogtags). Also, it's possible I was just in the wrong position those times, or their movement took them out of position etc...

A sub-1% failure rate sounds pretty damn reliable to me.

I have like 8 and a half kills. Once I get LIVE back...

Ah gotcha. Probably a million times. I'll chase a dude all the way across the map for a knife kill.

Same with C4ing vehicles.

indeed, the repair tool mechanic is fine for killing people but i don't use it as a weapon since a gun is easier

I don't know what you're talking about... Mine fails to stab most of the time, doing a slash for 1/3 health and leaving me unable to do anything for two seconds while I get sprayed down. WAY worse than BC2 knife IMO.

Weird. Are you holding the knife button down or are you tapping it?

If you just tap it it seems to just want to slash. If you're holding it... maybe the bumper on your controller is worn and it's registering as a tap? I don't know man. Works nearly perfectly for me.

Hmm. I guess I'll pay more attention and try to make sure I'm holding down the button from now on, see if that changes anything.

indeed, the repair tool mechanic is fine for killing people but i don't use it as a weapon since a gun is easier

that reminds me i still need to kill someone with the repair tool for that assignment... maybe another reason I dont knife is because flanking is not really my playstyle

The only time I bother using the knife is on an annoying sniper because I know alot of people dont like it and I dont like snipers.

DICE should add a secondary weapon for the tank that fires giant spears that sends enemies flying and pins them to walls.

I forgot the stat sig I used to have on here where you could make the guy have a gas mask and change how it looks.Some other stat sigs I tried would never update right.They would always be a couple weeks old.

I'm only at like....80 hours I think.

I didn't know to hold down the trigger if you already have the knife out.....I've gotten killed so many damn times trying to kill a whole team of campers

yea I was playing the other night on caspian border conquest and was trying every button and the right trigger works.

it's so satisfying to knife in this game


I've meaning to try the M416 out more.I felt kinda burned out since I have no more guns to unlock,but I can go after the service stars now

Yeah. If you already have the knife equipped I press and hold right trigger.
When you don't have it equipped you press and hold right bumper.

Tapping either usually just slashes.
