So there is a...um...prayer vigil going on down stairs with like 20 people all shouting and yelling in "Prayer".

I am a Christian. But fuck that, I am staying up here..in the dark, with my laptop and possibly porn.

I don't feel like going downstairs because this is EXACTLY the reason I have doubts about Christianity.

Seriously, like 20 people all down stairs, with one guy yelling at the top of his lungs "JESUS IF WERE NOT LIVING FOR YOU WERE WORTHLESS!" Or "Let us BURN THE EARTH WITH YOUR LOVE JESUS!" And theres a bunch of other people all around him yelling "JESUS!! JEEEEEEESUS! YES! JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!" "Let us BURN THE EARTH!"

"OH LORD I CAN'T FEEL MY FACE! MY EYE SOCKETS ARE BULGING OUT JESUS!"

Been a Christian for almost 19 years, but I don't know. Stuff like this is why I have doubts. AND ANNOYANCES.

Tempted, to climb into the attic and shut the ladder thingy. I can't escape the noise even with the door shut and Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast" blaring.

Ok, its not blaring, but its loud enough that if they stop yelling for 3 seconds they can hear it.

That's kinda unsettling.

It really is. I wanted to come home and play Batman, or Gears or something. But I can't. ONly thing I can do is listen and wait for everyone to leave.

On the other hand, Contraband was a good movie, shame it wasn't an hour longer so I could miss this.

Technically, in 4 minutes they will be. But unfortunately...everyone on the street is best close friends with the person leading this.

i never have been into any religion.

but when i was young i had to go to my grandparents at Christmas and they made us go to church.

each year the priest would tell us children to go out into the public and convert people.

I understand it. I've been to a lot of Christian camps where all the kids around me are freakin out like that and saying "I can feeeel the holy spirit!" and breaking down in tears and there's me and like one other kid just standing there giving each other confused looks.
