Yeah, but it had more to do with the non-stop issues and glitches involved with PC games. It also doesn't help that in a hobby already considered dorky, PC gaming is about as dorky as it gets. At least console gaming is becoming more widely accepted.

There is an old thread on here where I, Doomsday, Sym and several others all have a debate about DD. There were some good ideas in that thread on how to make DD the better option between the two.
I'm an optimist so i see the good that could come from DD if it was handled smartly. Although you realists are probably closer to the mark being worried that you may end up with less for the same cost.
