So I got on Minecraft with daughters before dinner. We player for about an hour. Found two veins of diamonds, bunch of iron, gold, and coal. Heading back to my castle, my oldest said I'm done, she signed out, then..... instead of just turning off the controller she turned off the xbox.......... hours worth of work..... gone!


DOH!


HAHA O well I'm pretty sure I remember were the diamonds were so no biggy.

I was kinda aggravated at first last night but then laughed. THis game has been an absolute blast to play with my two daughters playing at the same time. We had a lot of fun. THo my oldest keeps getting in my chest and taking my materials.

I made a chest for my stuff and their stuff but my oldest daughter just takes it all! HA

I wish I could zoom out and take an overview of the work we've done.

The game seems to save quite often, so you may have lucked out on that. If not, then damn, that sucks. I've been playing with two guys I work with, and we've got a lot of work done. Started on a castle, and well it did have a lavafall, but somehow we must have gotten rid of the block that had the lava. We are going to create another so that it will remain menacing. Right now it has a giant skull with flaming eyes and a nose. Sadly the castle isn't complete, but it will be a monster once it's done.

No I started it back up an its gone.


Well ours isnt so grand. I have a main tower that right now has 4 levels. We are right next to an ocean so we are going to raise it a little giher and turn it into a light house. We have a curtain wall that has some nice area inside were I have a forge area, greenhouse, and before we lost our save the girls each had started their own towers in diferent corners.

I had started a lava moat around the cutain wall but thats gone as well. It's a pretty nice little base. Nearby I found a cave that has yielded up some nice materials.

I wanted to explore more but so far I keep getting distracted. Last night I made a road to the starting spawn for when guest join they don't have to swim over anymore. Spent an hour messing with it and didn;t even realize how much time had gone by.

Autosave doesn't actually save your world, just leaderboard stuff. Something they should probably let us know...

But yeah that sucks DL. You should ground your daughter for a few months.

Autosave doesn't actually save your world, just leaderboard stuff. Something they should probably let us know...

But yeah that sucks DL. You should ground your daughter for a few months so she can play more minecraft with you!

indeed, they are the worst mob (apart from the Enderdragon on PC) because they can destroy a whole bunch of blocks, you don't want them going off in your house Sad

the main reason i hate them is because they are silent, i've had one fall on my head a few times, a sudden green blob filling me screen and then SSSSSSSSSSSSSS Rolling Eyes

I hate the Creepers too. Things suck balls! We need to figure out the Xbox player that's going to be online the most to create the world. That way, anyone who has it can join in then, and help out anytime. And yes DL, we do need your daughter for the child labor.

Here's the thing. When my wife is at work I am online a LOT playing soooo At times I'll be on a bunch, but when shes home I don;t really play much. Sooooo I don;t mind creating another world, or even if yal;l want to join the one I have now. Like I said I've barely explored at all. I wish it had something like BF3 does now. I'd pay money to rent out a dedicated server for this! HAHA

It's been a lot of fun Terry! Your GF might like it also. My daughters love it. Being able to slit screen with them has been a lot of fun! Theres a demo you should at least check out the demo. For 20 bucks! Lots of fun! The Game of Thrones RPG hit stores and I forgot about it and I am a thrones fanatic! HAHA

HAHA Well maybe for the moment, I see myself playing minecraft a lot, but I also miss BF3. That will still always be my main game. I loves Skyrim, Assasins Creed, but after a few days I still end up playing BF3 as well. I need to shoot people and blow up shit!

I have to say its amazing how such a simple game can be so addicting! So much I want to do! So little time!!!!!!!!!!!


Also to the xbox players. Next time I am one I plan on putting a chest with a few things in it if you join. Iron pick, sword, shovel, some torches, so your not naked if you want to join in. I saw Synicle Jester leave my game and felt bad. I didn't realize he had joined in at all. Hope he didn;t think I was ignoring him.

Was playing all day today. Eventually found a cave system that I started exploring. Wound up getting lost for a good 30 minutes. Found a lot of gold, diamonds, red stone, iron, and obsidian. Finally made it out of the cave and back to my castle. Did a hard save only to have my Xbox freeze up. Loaded it back up to see that none of it saved and it loaded up my last save, before any of that was found.

Ugh. Yea It sucks! I at least no were to go to get my diamionds back. Sounds like you might not. SOrry to hear it man! I have felt your pain!
