the fuck lol just heard about that on gfaqs........didn't something like that happen with the PS1/PS2 with it's dual shock controller and that's why sony didn't include rumble at 1st with the PS3?

I've heard alot of stuff.Some saying it would cause MS to rush the "new" xbox (720?) out and drop the 360 support like they did with the OG xbox

my ADD kicked in reading all the specifics,but apparently it's to due with MS using Moto's wifi technology in the "slim" models,and I read something about they had problems before about using Moto's ______(forgot specifics)

Yes a few years ago something similar happened to PS2. They halted all sale and pulled existing units off of all store shelves in the US. I think it was over the rumble patent.

So there is a precedent and from a smaller company.

As a side note, Google recently announced that they were legally in the clear to buy Motorola for $12.5 billion, so this fight with Microsoft is now officially their fight. Considering that Motorola is also facing a sales ban due to a patent lawsuit from Microsoft, the ITC is in position to dramatically shake up the gaming and tech markets.

yeah I knew I heard somethin about that with the PS2 awhile back,I heard that's actually why when the PS3 first came out,it didn't include rumble.

also a reason microsoft dropped the OG Xbox so quick was something to do with they were having problems with nvidia or somebody over the graphics chip in the old xbox
