I have to push my 1.5 mile and a half run back down to 11:59 (my goal not what is mandatory) in about a month. I can barely squeak by right now at 15:23 I've tacked on over 4 minutes to my run time because of the higher altitude!

ARGH! Looks like I have to try running 3 miles every day from now on to try and push my self to get my numbers to go down. Lets not even start on the fact that my sit ups have suffered as well due to this crap.

*Casually rocks back and forth, smirking* I'm just sitting here at a 14 minute 2 mile, and a 29 minute 4 mile that I run almost everyday. Nothing big.

To be fair, I was out on a blown knee for nearly six months. But you're also the Army Grey, of course you're going to be more physically fit than me.

Lol, anyway, I really shouldn't make excuses. It's unbecoming of a soldier (Even if I am an office rat).

Challange that mountain and crush it under foot and move onto the next one right?

How goes Army life Grey?

Long and stupid. I am just jerking my dick until my unit comes back. I want to fucking train already. I love training.

But I am getting commendations already and I am fast tracking as hell. About to be promoted.

Word of warning Camel, you better get a really good score on your ASVAB (In the 90's)

The Air Force is down sizing by a crap ton (The military in general) They're kicking people out left and right for small things (DUI's Failing a PT test)

If you want into the AF, make yourself stand out. Be sure to be at the peak of you physical ability if you can. AF basic isn't nearly as bad as Army or Marines, but the better you do the easier of a time you'll have.

If you have questions, I can try and answer them for you.

Yeah i heard about the military downsizing, I've been getting A's and B's this semester and have been studying up on the Ranks like you told me to. Also that's why I'm starting out now, going to have to quit the green stuff when i turn 17, then work out everyday after that, which won't be too hard if i keep up what I'm doing now.Started on my situps as well 60 in 60 Very Happy

excellent. keep pushing for the higher numbers because fatigue will kill both your run time and numbers.

3 miles if you can help it 2 or 3 times a week. Physical portion is only a small part, but nothing can really truly prep you for any mental stress you'll receive until you get there.
