Anyone use the M417 yet?

I swear, out of all the sniper rifles I've been killed by, NEVER have I lost to them at long range. Either this guy was stupid good, or I'm seriously missing out on a weapon that appears to have the power of a bolt action and the rate of fire and magazine capacity of an assault rifle.

I was constantly losing even at long distance to this bastard who was using it.

x4 ACOG was all he had. Was the most annoying and frustrating sniper I ever went up against. Didn't help my team was absolute garbage, they couldn't take and hold a flag to save their lives.

sorry I had to vent a little bit, what pisses me off even more is that I'll lose even when firing first at MEDIUM range with a G3 on semi, where I'm getting suppressed all to hell, yet the sniper seems completely oblivious to suppression. Some times I think there are days when the game aspires against me.

I agree that always happens to me....I can't use it worth a damn,it seems to go to crap when you're getting suppressed.I'd rather use the SKS

It's an SKS that fires slower and deals M39 level damage. It's only downside is travel speed, which you don't need at medium range.

It's, by far, the best semi auto in the game and probably the best overall recon weapon.

On par with the SKS as far as semis go, maybe even slightly outclasses it.
