Anybody else think the M417 is getting nerfed?

boy that thing's nasty....it has it's downside,can't hit SHIT when you're getting shot at at alllllllll.......

I like it with acoq,silencer,and front grip,I killed the whole team again with it today >__>

I think it's balanced by the fact if they're shooting back at you,you're fucked....but.....all the forum crybabys across the internet are probably gonna make Dice nerf it.

It's blatantly overpowered (makes every other semi-auto pointless) , I expect a nerf.

That is the point though isn't it. Milk is probably right, but I guess all we can do is hope it isn't typical DICE where the gun gets nerfed to the point of uselessness. Recon really needs at least 1 good gun.

It's a high risk high reward type thing,you can slap the laser on it and go around hip firing it like a shotgun and killing the whole team,but if they start to shoot back you're kinda fucked.

to think of it,I haven't tried hip firing it back at people with the laser if they've been shooting back at me,but the ADS on the thing is horrible if you're getting shot at

I like the SKS a little better honestly just because you can hit when you're getting shot back at,but the 417 is really fun to be aggressive with.I haven't seen it used much lately tho,I still see alot of SV98s and M40s out there,I've noticed the MK11 being used more than the 417 or even the SKS lately

the 417 is honestly about the only gun I ever use the silencer on,you can still hip fire the thing decently even with the silencer on

What would they nerf? Damage? Makes it a worse SKS. Fire rate? How to balance that mag size. Mag size? It'll be a clone.

Eliminate it's ability to be used at long (sniper) ranges.

That'll be my excuse for using it, I can't hit a wall from 500 meters.

There would be options if it needs to be balanced better. That wouldn't be a problem if they are smart about it. The problem is that instead of making a small, intelligent change DICE are total fucking worthless morons that cannot reason, or program, worth a shit and should all be fired and then crucified while being shot with fast-pitch machines.



I went and did some Symthic comparisons to the other 50 damage rifles and I'm not seeing where you guys are getting that it is so good it makes the others pointless.

It's actually pretty close to the others. Right in the middle actually, but maybe I missed something or those stats aren't correct.
