ah lawls. just looked at the Alienware MX14 R2 (checking out GT650m videos on youtube)

my Laptop is basically the same, but with a 17.3" 1920x1080 screen, for about £400 less. good job Dell.

I've been outta the loop for awhile,haven't looked up much on hardware since the GTX 460 was supposedly the best GPU on the market >___>

is i7 really the best for gaming?I've heard some say an i3 or i5 is fine for gaming for years to come,the i7 is just good for multitasking (which I wouldn't be doing since I'd be playing a game anyway)

I5 is fine for gaming now. But I7 will be needed within a few years if not sooner. I3 is way below acceptable for me.

My music alone is like 500 gigs.

I have a full 2 TB HDD I use for my games.

And a 128 gig SSd for the OS and a handful of games and programs.

my music is only 55 GB and im not exactly an impulse buyer when it comes to games

CPU arrived today (it was out of stock), so its been built. its in testing atm (BIOS, OS, Drivers, etc) then it goes into Quality Control (hardware, benchmarking, stress-testing) before being shipped.

if all goes smoothly i might get it shipped tomorrow in time to arrive in the evening, but its probably due early next week at some point.
