Best news I've heard in years. Only thing that could be better is a Morrowind remake with modern (Skyrim-level) graphics

halo has too many games for a trilogy (even if i did love ODST)

I hate Halo, but i would buy a Halo 2 HD remake in 10 seconds flat!

While I sort of agree, Halo 2 is probably my favorite game of all time, so I'm pumped

Tell that to every single "Madden" game that comes out.

What was so great about Halo 2? Was it on 360 or original Xbox?

its where vehicle jacking, duel weilding, using the energy sword, and zanzibar/last resort came from in the halo series
also the smg, battle rifle, golden wharthog, and gauss wharthog

OK I remember. Yeah that one was great. I remember people getting together for halo MP parties.
Good stuff.

Not sure what why it would need a remake though. Especially with a new Halo coming out. Unless they are just releasing it as a cheap Live Arcade title.

i just looked at the comment section why is everybody so pissed about the ending
i thought it was good especially because it sets up the next game unlike the first one

I didn't like the second one that much. I hated playing as the Arbitor. While it also did set up for the third game, I too wasn't that pleased with the ending of the second. I kind of like my games to have some sort of closure while playing the SP. Basically leaving it open saying there will be a third, kind of was a slap in the face to me, and that's probably why a lot of people are upset about it. As for the release of it, they will probably do what they did with the Halo CE remake. It was $40 new, and well was worth it since you can't play the original Xbox games on the 360 anymore.

Ah, it's the Halo 2 that makes you play as the alien. I hated that.
Now I remember, I quit playing it and traded it in the second time it forced me to not-be-chief! That's why I only vaguely remember it.
