how does one switch items without going into the gear menu
it doesnt say it in the controls

also i started it and now i have to restart because i skipped a bunch of shit while playing

use the number keys iirc.
or mousewheel.

check the controls, you can rebind keys to switch weapons.

Cycle though weapons: mouse wheel

blackjack: 1
dagger: 2
broadhead arrow: 3
fire arrow: 4
gas arrow: 5
moss arrow: 6
noisemaker arrow: 7
water arrow: 8

seriously, its in the manual bro.

the mousewheel only does weapons im talking about potions and flashbangs type items
