Ok, so I've already applied to expand the limit on the videos beyond 15 minutes. Yet whenever I try to upload a video it keeps giving me an error "The server has rejected the file, please follow these instructions".

I did and everything is fine and nothing should be preventing the file from uploading, unless, there is a cap on how LARGE the file can be. Currently it's roughly 89GB in size. Do I need to cut it up into two in order to upload it?

I can upload significantly smaller videos, but its the 25-29 min videos that go into the 70-90GB in size range that seem to fail. They don't even begin to load, as soon as I try open then to upload, I get the aforementioned error.

Help?

89GB???

I couldn't imagine anyone anywhere allowing you to upload a file of that size for free.

I would suggest cutting it up into about 50 segments.

I recently uploaded a 3.2GB, 30 minute video without problem.

Chewy's probably right.

How do I cut it down any further then in Fraps? I have this piece of shit virtual dub that requires me to install a crap ton of adware or what have you in order to keep it on my pc without having to "reinstall" it each time (Which i promptly decline everything it wants me to additionally install)

Any other ideas?

Dude virtual dub is great.....mine didnt come with any extra software.

And yea you gotta compress that shit. I use virtual dub and it works like a charm.

Can you send me your install version by chance? Did you buy it?

Edit: I think I found the problem, certain settings in VD were not correctly set, so I think it was appending the videos and not compressing them completely. Making a new file now and seeing if it will be small enough to upload right now.

Yea I do this

File > OPen Video file

Select your file you want compressed

Video > Compression

Select MPEG- 4 codec then hit ok

File > Save as AVI and then it will compress

So far so good, I re-did the compression and the file is a little over a gig to 3 gigs now.

The compression settings were non-existent it seems the first time I tried to compress the video.

*Feels stupid*

Haha no worries. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the program too. Just do the steps I said and your videos will be compressed dramatically.

I still have to keep reinstalling that damn program though. So annoying.

Really?

Ive had no issue with that.

Where did you install it from?

I downloaded the program a while ago, i dont remember where, and each time it asks me to install all this garbage, like web plug ins and crap, it "installs" but stats suck in a screen saying it is. I can use the program, but it never completes, and I have to do it each and every fucking time I want to compress a fraps video.

It was a pain in the ass to do, but I "acquired" a copy of Sony Vegas and it's made all my video rendering and compressing a breeze. It's also got all the editing tools you need to make professional looking videos.

So yeah, there's that option if you don't mind that sort of thing.

Hmm, I downloaded the version you have Sym, but I no longer have the compression settings that I did with the other one that I had to keep "Reinstalling" nor do I have the settings that you suggested.

The first one was never installed in the first place (It never appeared in my programs folder and such. I'll uninstall and try again and run the K-lite codec pack that I had to use last time.

Ok, I got it to work, however I noticed that when I recorded a new video, my voice was extremely quiet in the video, while my friend sounded fine. How do I get fraps to record my voice at normal volume?
