Hey gun guys.

If any of you run across a Beretta Combat Combo (preferably a 96, but 92 is fine) either online or in a local gunshop will you let me know?
I've been wanting one for a long while now and have had no luck finding one. As far as I know they didn't actually release them in the US, but there have been many imported.

Probably a pointless long-shot, but you never know. Volt, you might run across one at a show!

I heard the slide cracks on the .40 model but the 9mm is pretty good

I heartily agree. That is my 2nd biggest draw to it. I just love looking at it.

The compensated/barrel bushings can be found and built into any FS model.
However, these are single action Berettas. Notice the absolutely beautiful slide lock notch and lever where a safety/de-cock lever is on a standard Beretta. That my friend, is the major reason I want one and I doubt you would ever be able to alter a standard slide/frame to be that way.

Same reason you don't see custom 93r knock-offs. Different slide/frame.

I'm a member of an elite organization dedicated to berettas and have alot of knowledge about them. That "compensator" as you call it is actually a counter weight to balance the gun with a bushing installed. Theres more then combats that have the safety option too like stocks, steels, and billi's or beretta billenniums.

The last person i seen get one of the combats had to pay $3000 extra to the USA to get it imported here. They are very hard to find in the states. even the one i'm getting it not a fully factory combat. Its a Beretta Combat upper mounted on a M9A1 frame with billi controls. So it is possible to convert a regular Beretta 90 series frame to a combat.

I had forgotten that the Billeniums were also SAO, but I doubt I'd ever find one because they were a limited run. I'd hate to even know what the going rate is for one now. I don't think I've ever even seen a Steel model, didn't realize they were also SAO.

That looks like a Stock with factory bushings that you're getting with some custom polishing/hammer. I'm jealous, it's awesome.
