I downloaded the free packs already that allowed you to play with those who had this stuff. I wasn't aware it wasn't available yet. Just didn't play with it much yet.


BTW, I'm thinking of putting together some tips for DR2. Maybe some weapon and food lists, Zombrex locations, etc...

I was getting bored after I got the S ending.

This would put some extra incentive.

Go achievement hunting. I read about the Knight gear. Sounds like it would take some time to get.


Either of you make a Blitzkrieg yet? I did this last night and about shat myself. It's an amazing weapon!

I stuck with basically two weapons the entire game, except for those shootout situations.

Boxing Knives

I made others on just makeshift temporary solution when I ran out of weapons.

The only thing that seem to take a long time to achieve at the moment is 50 survivor, since I need to finish the game fully again.

Also, I got helmet (poker from Jack) and armor (S ending). Others are boots and mustache. I know that you get one from buying from pawn shop, and other is just pick-up.

I used the Spiked Bat most also, even in the shootouts. 10-15 bullets to kill a merc but only 2 bat swings lol.

It takes 2~3 Handgun headshots to kill Mercs. 4~6 from Assault Rifle (any type) headshot for a kill.

I hate getting stuck in crossfire, and zombie biting so I grab any projectile weapon before I face shooters.

The beard is the piece you need. I got it by accident somewhere. I can't remember where though.

You guys tried bringing survivors with you to psycho battles at all? I brought 7 all armed with Merc Machine Guns to fight Antione......lol he didn't get a chance to attack more then once.

Also doing the mission where you have to stop TKs mercs, and destroying that one van. Those mercs standing outside never stood a chance.

Also, they are great for money getting. Bring a whole posses with ya all armed with Merc Machine guns or LMGs, get the three gambling books, and have them stand at a marker infront of that giant gambling machine in one of the casinos while you just keep hitting B. I got almost 1,500,000 in twenty minutes while they all defended me.

Should try that someday.

You should, its so awesome to actually see the survivors pull their own weight in this game and be useful for once.
I tried bringing em to fight Leon they killed him quickly, but he nearly killed half of them by running through their group in one attack. Did like 75% damage to each one that he hit, with just one attack.

I then tried making em fight Randy after I healed em all up. Not a good idea. He killed 2 pretty quickly, and this caused the remaining 5 to defect and light me up.

The beard is in one of the hair salons. What's special about it? It keeps it in your bathroom locker.

I prefered the defiler to the spiked bat. But mostly I switched weapons constantly because they're fun. Lot's of fun combos to. Freezer bomb to grenade football. Any zombie attracting thing (fireworks/mask, copter etc...) + any explosive or the Shock mask (awesome).

Now I'm doing my 100% + achievements run.

The full armour set allows the player to have double the health.

Oh. Don't really need double health for any reason, but I want it just because it turns you into Sir Arthur from Ghosts & Goblins! One of my other all time favorite game series

Thats basically the whole point of it.

The armour gets peeled off as you take damage, just like the other game.

Has anyone played TIR? I tried it last night. It was more fun than I expected. Zomboni cracked me up.

I only played it once. It was cool though.

I'm a mild achievement whore so I'm trying to knock out the 3 achievements tied to TIR. Got two last night so it shouldn't take long. Plus the money you get goes towards story mode. Could be a good way to get enough cash for those keys. I'm sure there's faster ways to get cash, but probably not as fun.

There is a faster way.
Get those three Gambling mags(can't remember the location), go to the Casino that is connected to the Palisades Mall I think it is, and fnid that giant Slot machine on the wall.
After twenty minutes I have 1,500,00

Also, not sure if you guys heard about it, but there is a glitch that causes your map to vanish after you get Jack's Helmet. SO I haven't played Poker with them at all in the saferoom until they fix it.

yeah, I figured this out. My wife loves slot machines and eagerly earned me about 8 million while I played with the baby.

I have the helmet, and there is no change to the map.

I Think its after you get the whole armor set Storm, but I am not fully sure.
I still ain't gonna find out till its fixed, I prolly wouldn't use it anyways.
Its the Banana Hammock or nothing for me.

I have everything but the boots and no glitch yet. Not in a hurry to get the boots right now.


And the banana hammock is seriously screwed up. Do you run around with "the massager" too?

No, no massager for me. I do keep one or two on me for when I get a black Survivor in my party.

Not sure how to interpret that.

It is. Got it a few days ago. The extra health the suit gives you,you don't see affect your healthbar. But when I was wearing it and was mobbed by 20+ Gas Zombies I was glad I had it/
