slow hard-drive and a DDR3 GT650m. ideally you want to get the DDR5 version of the GT650m and a 7200 RPM HDD like i do, since its a big improvement for gaming.

It's not like i havn't thought about it, i mean i use to play PC exclusively, but i have no room in my room for a desktop i really don't want to sink 1k+ into a pc to have it sitting in the living room.

Also i know i've said it a few times before but i am not really drawn to PC unless it's an MMO which i am pretty much done with.

Medium, maybe, but depends on the resolution. If there is a review/benchmark on the laptop you are planning on purchasing, it probably has BF3 benchmark. Maybe it is benchmarking with Ultra setting with every single option turned on max, but if it can handle 30 fps with it, you can get 60 in medium for sure..

BF3 needs to have AA and AF to a certain degree, in order to not be in a disadvantage (notably wired fences and pedestrian barrier on the road <- have no idea what the official name is. LoL). So you have to think about having to turn those on for optimal play, and also have your resolution to put into consideration.

If you are planning on turning your native resolution down, remember that some laptop screens have some driver/GPU/screen-processor (probably handled by on-board or CPU) degrades performance immensely. So in actuality, you might be hurting the performance even more than a higher resolution. This comes from my personal experience in the past, so it may have had been resolved in this day and age.
