A little just Ram, HDD, Blue ray, and something else, oh and 3.0 USB so far.

ANd Looks like call of duty ghosts will have vaulting, sliding, leaning, and character customization (heads, bodies)....looks a little better....soo call of duty is finally getting some long needed updates.

Looks a lot better in regards to what they did comparisons with ... Dogs, and models (they compared with MW3)

I just feel that for a gaming console, they'd spent way too much time focusing on what it can do with live tv! Who the fuck cares about live tv?

And still no real game play. Plenty of cinematics and models that all look great. Maybe at E3 it'll be better (since they did say they were going to show gameplay for the new CoD).

What a stupid name. Lets hope they won't screw up advertising like the Nintendo did with the Wii U. Anyways the console looks decent, though I was pretty underwhelmed by the lack of games. The alt tab features seem pretty cool, and it is nice to see COD get such a bump in graphics while still maintaining 60 fps.

Yeah i just got done watching the stream and all the TV stuff was annoying. As far as specs they said

500GB HDD
Blu-ray
wi-fi
8GB ram
5 million transistors

Backward compatibility doesn't bother me one way or the other. My 360 still runs strong.

But the stream was bad. The kinect functions are nice, and how smoothly it shifts from function to function is neat and very smooth, so I'm not going to worry about specs. Its a console, not a computer. I won't have to worry about upgrading for another ten years if I get one, versus a computer.

Console tech has stagnated to a point where they cant afford to put out meh hardware right now.

The PS4 has already been confirmed to be rather powerful. You need to have a good cpu in your console or it gonna bottleneck that 7850 ( which is meh enough for me )

I really needed to be blown away by M$ today, and they clearly havent done even close enough for that.

From their asinine policies that seem to be getting worse, to the lack of games and the lack of bleeding edge hardware.....I really think M$ days in the console market are numbered. This console is so focused on everything not gaming, and the actual gaming part of it is so meh and blah they are really gonna have to pull out all the stops on software in order to get people to buy one over the PS4.

Depends on the fee. A sucky thing since at this point Grey and I can just share SP games, and MP games we don't play together. Even a joint live account wouldn't work since its using the kinect to create your profile.

There are many many many people not happy with current gen fidelity and are looking for a rather big jump

This isnt happening, therefore there will be a large amount of console consumers not happy with this current development. M$ will be losing many, many customers I do imagine, as most of them jump ship to PS4 or PC.

Just because you personally dont find specs important, does not mean they aren't. Many gamers would adamantly disagree with that notion that specs aren't important. And that is what matters. Majority rules.

Understanding how hardware works is vital to understand the industry and the direction its heading. Tech stagnation is bad for everybody. There is only so much that can be done with the current gen, and its already tapped out.

New tech always prompts innovation.

And without those specs being to par, M$ risks so much more than just losing a few customers. Sony is making a gaming machine with cutting edge technology, M$ seems to be resting on its laurels and putting out a sub par piece of tech . Not to mention the focus of the console seems to be everything but gaming....

Im just saying, whether you like it or not, technology and advanced hardware have always been part of new gen consoles. And only Sony seems to really grasp that this go around.

MS lost me with the sub par tech and the focus seeming to be on everything but gaming.

seems like MS want to go after casual gamers with this. They want the xbox to be a living room staple so it throws alot of bells and whistles in there that the more hardcore gamers don't really care about.

The only reason Sony lost out was because they were retarded and made the architecture almost impossible to work on. Devs warned of that very thing when the PS3 was announced AND released.

The PS4 learned from that mistake, and it is essentially a PC, which makes even the crappiest of devs able to make games for it.

Gameplay ALWAYS stagnates at the end of tech cycles. Always.

New more powerful tech makes advanced physics and gameplay mechanics possible.

Graphics aren't really what matter. Nintendo does fantastically well, even if the Wii U is struggling right now, and they don't have the best tech out there in their hardware.

But hardware specs affect more than just graphics.
