Xcom is addicting

Damn it boy I cringed when an alien (which is total bullshit) shot through 2 train cars on a bomb disposal mission and it critically injured my only good Assault with arc beam to capture aliens alive >___> she only had 1 bar of health left, so I just left her in overwatch at the most safe cover spot


it didn't help I had 2 rookies who kept missing shots or barely did any damage.

Disfused the bomb in Australia which helped the panic go down, then 2 Mr.Smiths from the Matrix jumped outta nowhere, both in overwatch I believe. Papa Bear my heavy support from the tutorial leader killed 1 in overwatch as soon as it jumped down, then he had to reload


then EVERY person painstakingly missed their shots....till I was down to some African rookie who only had a 40% chance to hit (even though they were point blank) so I said fuck it and blew Mr.Smith matrix alien up with a good ol frag grenade. And to think, I almost picked medpack instead >__>

Capturing an alien alive gets pretty easy once you get better at the game

I captured the sectoid(?) regular alien. Now going to try to capture a thin man .

although I'm supposed to capture this boss type alien now for the story >__>

Might start researching laser weapons. I got a plasma pistol able to be researched from the alien I captured,but,that thing takes way too long to do,and,costs too much

I dont bother with pistols

Capturing the outsider is a little trickier

Can only do them on UFO missions

some have said to skip laser weapons entirely,which I don't think will fare very well fighting the damn robots

I dont skip laser weapons, but dont go pistols until I have plasma.

Laser weapons are a huge help mid game IMO
