Posted this on gamefaqs aswel but i thought i'd re-post this out of curiousity.

So i've been talking to this girl in my class that sits next to me for a little while and we seem to get along pretty well, class ends at night time so i usually walk her to her car after class.

Anyways i planned to give her my number yesterday we talked a little while before class started, i usually catch her looking at me during class so i think she might be somewhat interested(or i am overthinking it.) She left after break but her friend was still in class so as class ends i start talking to the friend and i asked her if she could give my number to her, she said she would but i can see how this would be a little awkward, I mean i guess i'll know if she texts me eventually.

I've never given my number to a womans friend to give to her but i figure i'd have to wait another week to actually get to see her because i only have one class with her.

What do you guys thing?

I think any girl who is willing to walk and talk with you on a regular basis is interested. I also think asking her friend was a weak move, but luckily for you, you will get to see her again next time and make a move for yourself. You will be fine Gil, just take a deep breath and go for it.

Yeah going through a "middle man" so to speak could be perceived as being a little weak. But it would seem like she's interested so I don't think you messed everything up. Definitely ask her out next time you see her though.

tough break dude...that's kinda rough. Being in uni it would never occur to me either to check if they're married. Finding a student that's already hitched is exceedingly rare...at least around here anyways.
