I remember my dorm mates and I rented classrooms to host Halo tournaments before. We tried doing CS on PC (just did LAN in dorm for this), but I was getting too much backlash, for whatever reason, so we changed it to Halo instead.

well one student's tuition could easily cover a couple xboxes and maybe $250 for every blockbuster that comes out

Ah yes, that feeling when you go 30-0 and people are visibly frustrated when they die to you. I had to force myself not to pick up a sniper rifle or shotgun in Halo, so my friends could have a fighting chance.
