A short while back, Bethesda announced their next DLC installment for Skyrim: Dragonborn. Upon its announcement Bethesda promised a wealth of new opportunities, such as: new towns, tameable dragons for flying, control of the Dragon Priest and an all-new island.
The storyline of Dragonborn starts with the Cultists of Miraak, who're searching for the allegedly false Dragonborn. You take the reigns as the first ever DragonBorn, who's came under much skepticism and after the Miraak attempt to kill you, you'll find their boat and set sail for the legendary island of Soldtheim - off the coast of Morrowind.
Many gamers will be pleased to hear that the completion of the main quest in Skyrim is not mandatory. If you have already completed the storyline, the Miraak characters will have a completely different dialog - so it's advisable to try out the DLC twice to get both experiences!
As far as length is concerned, the DLC appears to be quite lengthy; leaks indicate that it'll last for 30+ hour! The beta player who provided all of this information revealed that they have played Dragonborn for over 30 hours with no finish in sight (with the intention of completing all side-quests.) If you’re looking to complete the main storyline, then it is estimated that it will take roughly 10 hours.

The Morag Tong - They seem to act more like Silver Hand encounters where you fight against them a bit and have random encounters of them. No ability to join with them so far. Hostile Dunmer in Morag Tong armor.

Serpent-like creature - Player won't describe this excactly, though says one is pictured in the trailer and won't give its exact name either.
Lurkers - Extremely tough and frustrating enemies with plenty of health and dish out a lot of damage. Good challenge. About the size of giants and they are creatures that have 'slipped' into Tamriel from H. Mora's realm.
Ash Spawn - officially mentioned and pictured in Bethesda's releases.
Rieklings - officially mentioned and pictured in Bethesda's releases.
New Dragon types encountered.

Dragon Riding - player hasn't gotten to this one yet.
Dragon Aspect - creates the dragon armor from trailer and gives stronger shouts, stronger melee attacks and summon Ancient Dragonborn to fight with you when you get low on health. Can only be used once per day.

Ash creature conjuration spells
