I didn't read this thread, so I don't know if someone suggest this, but...

Would it be possible to make it so the most recent posts displayed next to the subforum would actually reflect what was posted in the forum?

Example:
I post in Anime, Manga, and Comics.
It shows it as the most recent post for that board, Entertainment, and The Lounge.

Change it so that the post only shows up next to Anime, Manga, and Comics, and not the other two. The other two would display what was posted on those forums.

I don't even know if that's possible, because of the way the forums are structured, but I thought it might be worth putting out there.

The reason it does that is because comics is a subforum of entertainment and entertainment is a subforum of the lounge. I could separate them all, but then you wouldn't get them all grouped together for easy access in the lounge

Yep. That's what I meant.

I dunno. I guess it all depends on the way you use the boards.
I just click "Home" and look to see if there are more recent posts on any of the boards. I could look at each individual board, but that would take longer.
If I go to The Lounge, then I'm just going there to see what has been posted in The Lounge itself.

I'm working on the current games profile addition atm. DL will need to come up with one as well so he doesn't feel left out

just assume that if its between 4pm EST and 6am EST im at work this week

i can icon it but you guys would have to fill it out, it wouldn't do it automatically

or make use of the Current games application i added...

Unfortunately that's how the host site organizes blogs, ill see if I can tweak it abit.

Would it be possible to make all the subforum topics endup in the lounge? or another forum that includes all the others? Thats something I liked about gamefaqs is just a list of topics that get updated albeit it was just for 1 game

I have to say this is a very well made website. Thanks for putting so much effort into it Dr awesome.

We had a short discussion on the chat box early on.

Since a lot of us post from work we wouldn't be able to keep up with real time conversations.

But if there is a lot of interest in it, I can throw on together .

I really think you should add a google ads banner just so you can start improving the site with just a more professional feel and maybe a chat system too.
