Learning PHP, maybe

I haven't written any code in a long time and I'm itching to learn another language, or relearn one of the other languages I learned. I know at least one or two of you know PHP (I wish Khult was still here ) and wanted to know if you guys knew of any good books I could use. I would prefer them to be free books I could get online cause I'm pretty poor right now

It's a relatively simple language to get started in. Just remember to always spellcheck your variables because the fact that you don't have to declare them can be your worst enemy.

So it's kind of like python?

iuno, I've never used python.

It's most similar to perl, basically an evolved version of it.
