We need new rules for off topic posting.

It is getting out of hand every single thread I see on here gets derailed one way or another. I mean can anyone here actually stay on topic?

It is being discussed in the Staff Room.

For now though, the rule is that (I think it is also in the regulations topic), if the topic creator asked to keep it on topic, keep it on topic.

Also, if someone asks the topic to be railed again, do not stray any further and get back on topic. This one is not the rule yet, I think, but thats my input.

This place was created to be more relaxed. I don't think it's worth changing. But if you create a topic and wish it to stay on topic, say so.

Going off topic is fine but not on every single topic.

I gotta agree with tom. I get on here after school to look at a topic I see before going to bed and it's gotten 2 pages bigger with mostly random stuff.

I think every single topic is an exageration. When a topic fizzles out it usually goes off topic or gets lost under new topics.

I do think asking for the topic to remain on topic in the topic title is a very easy fix without changing the over all forum regulations.

I've seen you do it yourself D. Even requesting that the Sport's Den itself stay on topic. Worked. It's all sports in there.
