So I clicked the "!!" button on my post seeing if I could delete it and it said report to mod or admin for too much on topic posting. I can see why tons of topics are derailed now.

It was probably thrown in there as a joke Tom, lol.

But yes, half of the reason this place exists because of the asshole GameFAQs mods, and them modding you for saying anything that wasn't 100% about a game, or even talking to other people to ask if they wanted to play. I wouldn't be suprised if GameFAQs is based in China.

A giant cookie the size of a cake. It was nice ans soft as well goood stuff.


We also had buffalo chicken dip, and someone else brough banana pudding. I guess it was feast day and nobody told me.

It's actually buffalo chicken dip fox. It has shredded, or chunked chicken, with buffalo sauce, cheese, and umm some other stuff that you eat with corn chips. MMMmm good stuff. Next time the wife makes some I should mail you some!

Now i'm going to say, so what if we remember why thsi place exists.

There are sections and if topics become off topic and maybe for another section, SPLIT the topic. There's no point for sections in a forum if people off topic everything. It happens so much that there's no need for the damned report button. I use it for lolz every now and then or maybe just a lot because I know it won't get modded because no rules are enforced. If you want you own seperate conversation, PM or make a new topic. Not everyone wants to see peoples own little conversations sprouting up, and people shouldn't have to say so =/

I'm not joking, you get a special box for them and everything. You give them some apples and a couple of cups supported by zipties fiilled with water, and a few more with ice that will give them more water as it melts. Smile

Actually there have been a few times where things have been modded. THe great thing about this place is the chill attitude most people have. THis has been discussed and it is agreed that if you want something to stay on topic post it in the message. THere are also places that stay on topic such as the sports den.

Yeah but the sports den is only used by those who like sports. It wouldn't happen then. But you really shouldn't have to say cause that's just saying people can't help going off topic and can't control themselves. I'd think it's more better to see topics split and when a topic is derailed and becomes a big conversation it should be split and put into spam pit.

I'm from a bunch of forums that are communities who don't like other forums because of the mods and they still follow some rules to prevent spam/double posting and such. And i've seen these things on forums i'm on. So I guess i'm just not able to get used to this being so carefree.

THe majority of the people that post here like going off topic and like the fact that a place has been created that is more relaxed. If you want to create a topic and have it stay on topic feel free. If you report that it is off topic then the mods will split the topic. WE DO CARE! We don;t have time to split every topic that goes off topic. We will though on topics that are requested to stay on topic.

I know you do care about the forum, it's probably me and my fair share of forum days on cmomunity made had the same rules so I never had to change. Sorry for sounding like an ass but it's only because when I read that my natural thoughts got me a little annoyed.

Well if it cheers you up any this old man gets grumpy sometimes when I see a thousand topics that have been derailed 5 time each. (yes I am exagerating haha) I just try to see it from both sides and moderate as fairly as I can.

I used to check that topics were still on topic; I locked a few that went on for days, and completely changed direction with only 3 letter posts for the last 3-4. Towards the end there, I was making sure that things were on topic a little better. If you want something to stay on topic, make sure to post "On Topic" in your first post. If it gets too off topic, report, and the mods will check it. Smile

And no Tom, nobody has been moderated for that yet. I don't think anybody ever will, lol.
