Need SeC Advice, Should I get Internet?

So they cut my hours a LOT this week at work and a little bit for next week and I'm not sure if they are going to continue to do this. I have enough money for internet for this month but next month I won't be able to afford to go grocery shopping. I'll be able to afford to go shopping at the beginning of the month after that though(March 7). I have rice, ramen, and some meat in the freezer. I only have enough meat for about 4 meals, then I would have to eat rice and ramen for the rest of the month.

That might sound like an easy decision but I was thinking that if I did get internet I could start looking for other jobs and maybe get a job with more hours or even a second job if they cut my hours too much.


So , SeC, should I tough it out for a month and start searching for another job or should I just wait.

P.S. I already drove around and tried to get applications but EVERYONE is doing it online now so I can't really apply without internet.

Have you tried to find any internet cafes or libraries? There's gotta be some around you.


I mean food is pretty important.

If you cant pay your bills I would be looking for another job

Tight budget = no fun....

But apply everywhere you can now if you think you need to.....and go without internet after...and fequent libraries and places internet in the interm....


but by the sounds of it...start looking for a job if they cut hours and you are worried more will be cut.

I still have 3 months left of high school because of the way my credits transferred so I couldn't even if I wanted. I forgot to mention that if I got internet I could start online school and finish that up also.

Like the others said. Drop your internet bill and use the library for your job searching.

I would give advice, but sadly, I don't really have any that I could think of based on my experiences (I've only held one job for 2 months as a temporary worker).
