WAs using my laptop last night, and my dog jumped onto my bed. His weight managed to cause the mattress to cave in slightly, and before I could react my laptop went sliding to my hardwood floor.

Luckily, it still works. Except for the backlight. I can only see the screen if I shine something really bright on it. And I know its only the screen because I am using a VGA cable and typing this using my 19 inch tv.

So it still works, just slightly uncomfortable and very inconvient.

Expesially since I have yet to figure out the proper resolution/settings to make this thing comfortable to use on this tv.

It looks good, but its just too big to properly use or see.

ALthough, to be fair, out of all the recent crap in my life this wasn't even anger inducing or frustrating. More of a "Aw....really?" kinda thing.

Luckily I never paid more then 60 bucks for this thing.

that's how my friend used his crappy netbook for awhile when the screen blew out on him except he had a huge old CRT monitor hooked up with VGA

I know that feel soap, my laptop took a dive off the table when my friends dog knocked me over. Since it fell right on the corner, I was sure the thing was a goner.

Wow. Your laptop is pretty flimsy. I was watching star trek one night, fell asleep, and then woke up to it about a foot away from my bed standing in an "A" shape. It still works.
