I created a program a few days ago to calculate the number of attempts it would take for a program to guess the correct lottery number if it was told the range of numbers and the winning numbers. On a lark, I inputted a range of 0-999 with a four-plot "winning" number. And I left it to run last class period. By an hour and a half after I started, it was around 720 million attempts. I thought that leaving it overnight would work. I came back today, the program was displaying the guess number to be near 1.34 billion. The twist was, it was in the negatives. Somehow the program that counted up had switched to negative and started heading back towards zero.
And I know why it is, this isn't asking for help. just thought it would be interesting to share.
