Well 690 was a dual GPU. The titan is single GPU if it's the one I think you're talking about.

oh it is, I understand that completely. I'm just remarking that if they're using it as an "upcoming flagship model" I would assume that it would be the best of the best.

Wait, so basically nobody can have it though? Or is it just talking about in February?

The GTX Titan will be launched in a very limited quantity, only the most recognized reviewers will get the cards.

At any rate I'll probably still wait until Maxwell comes out to upgrade.

700 series is most likely coming out next year. AMD announced that they are going with a 2 year development cycle, so the 8000 series is coming next year. Most are assuming that Nvidia will also be doing this.
