They said the meds will do the trick. My Dr said he has only seen one person younger than me in his career with this infliction. I guess the guy was like 20 or something and was a college athlete, yet still had the clot.

Believe it or not Im actually happy this is all it was. I have been worried about it for a few days.

But I do drink heavily and smoke a lot of bud.....

That blows, kinda sucks when you do most things healthily but then not healthy stuff happens. Good thing it's nothing major though, I thought it could have been pretty serious when I read the title.

My grandfather smoked for over 70 years.(I think he invented the cigarette) Lived a long full life.

My former boss was a health nut. In great shape. Never smoked. Ate right. Exercised regularly. Died of a heart attack at 45.

Doesn't make sense really. You can't analyze it. Everything seems to be bad for you. Even the stuff that's good for you.

Man, glad it's not too serious and that it'll go away! So much for it just being anxiety. This is why no one comes to me for medical advice

When I ended up in the hospital because of mine the first time (I blacked out for like a solid minute), they told me they thought it was a pulmonary embolism haha. I was like uhh...really? I ended up having a really bad sinus infection that spread to my lungs. Didn't find out until I went to the doctor the next day because the hospital sent me home and told me I was fine. Crazy shit.

Yea anything with the heart or lungs is a scary thing

I have always kinda had a fear of chest related illness or anything like that. So I kinda have a slight understanding of what you were feeling when you found out.

MY family has a long history of heart and lung problems, so its kinda a very fearsome subjectt for me.

I have moderate Arrhythmia and it gives me chest pains sometimes. Doesn't help when it mixes with my anxiety and I end up having panic attacks in the middle of the night. Makes me nervous just thinking about it...

My chest hasn't hurt in awhile. The hospital here told me they don't have the right machines to test my heart and I'd have to go to some expensive specialist.

Hospital here told me it was this thing called costchondritis...pretty much,the cartilage of my chest by the heart is bad/inflamed....it's done it my whole life though hurting randomly,it hurts bad to breath. I looked it up online and there really isn't anything to do....they said possible cortisone shots,but I heard that just makes it even worse later,or they said to actually surgicly remove the cartilage....fuck that >__>

YOu just need an EKG, which is available at an any hospital
