Still no mod API and they decreased performance again. The new redstone features are sorta nice.

Yeah, I noticed the hit to the performance when I was running it today; my FPS were slightly lower on average, and more unstable. 1.5 does have some very new and interesting things that are very useful though, especially for map makers. The ability for dispensers to shoot different things, as well as pivet directions, as well as the hoppers allowing for fully automated mob farms are extremely powerful.

Also, supposedly skeletons and zombies are more powerful (annoying) enemies now.

looks pretty cool. liking the HD texture pack support and animated textures. havent played Minecraft in a while though, think the last time i played was 1.3 Razz
